After missing a train, a young immigrant waitress contemplates suicide on the subway platform at the 125th Street Station. What starts as an everyday indulgence, becomes a regression into her darkest fantasies, with elements of the detective story, melodrama and the absurd. Floridita, My Love is a darkly comic nightmare about the invisible in America, set on the border crossings between the real and the imaginary, Harlem and Morningside Heights, Mexico and New York.
