WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Hourglass Group presents readings of seven new plays in the Flirting with the Edge Festival, featuring adventurous new works that explore subjects ranging from the last days of sci-fi author Philip K. Dick to the impact that collecting African-American memorobilia makes on an NFL star to Hedy Lamarr's little-known contribution to wireless technology. All the plays deal with characters facing a world in which the fantastic and real are increasingly difficult to distinguish. Performance Schedule: Tuesday, November 19 @ 4:00pm Flirting with the Deep End by Suzanne Maynard Miller Wednesday, November 20 @ 7:00pm Rust: An Illustrative Limbo by Kirsten Greenidge Thursday, November 21 @ 4:00pm 800 Words: The Transmigration of Philip K. Dick Friday, November 22 @ 2:00pm Frequency Hopping by Elyse Singer Friday, November 22 @ 7:00pm Francisco Pizarro Sings by Jay Reiss Saturday, November 23 @ 3:00pm In Watermelon Sugar by Erika Rundle Saturday, November 23 @ 7:00pm The Honeymoon Story by Douglas Bost
