WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A world premiere production by Rogelio Martinez, FIZZ: The Totally Fictionalized Story of America's Most Successful Blunder is about Roberto Goizueta, a Cuban immigrant who headed the most quintessential of American companies - Coca Cola. As CEO during the 80s and 90s, Goizueta introduced the hugely successful Diet Coke, which helped make Coca Cola the most famous American trademark in the world. But he is better known for the introduction of New Coke, which was a massive failure. In this rollicking comedy, Goizueta fights his way back to the top and discovers that only by diving into the irrational can he fully understand America.
