WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Edwin Lee Gibson's Five 'Til is the story of an innocent African-American man sentenced to Texas' notoriously severe death row living out the last five minutes of his life. Each minute crawls by -- progressing musically from negro spirituals to blues to jazz to soul to hip hop -- in measured step to the unstoppable ticking of a clock sounding out his impending execution. Daphne Richards directs.
