Target Margin Theater presents The Five Hysterical Girls Theorem, a new comedy about math & love. The large number of actors in the play is apt because playwright Rinne Groff's play is steeped in mathematics. The play is about the equation of the heart and intellect when a passel of eccentric mathematicians, young, old, male and female. When they gather at a seaside resort in the dead of winter to argue number theory, Rivalries, love and lies ensue. This inventive production gives new meaning to the arithmetic of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
