Brilliant
I have been fortunate to have seen every production of Lanford Wilsons superb play FIFTH OF JULY since it first opened with William Hurt at Circle Rep many years ago. Today I saw what I consider the finest of all of them at the intimate Schreiber Studio Playhouse. Everything worked, from the great set design, the evocative lighting, the superb direction of Peter Jensen and, mainly, a magnificent ensemble cast. Even if you have seen the play before, this production will make it all new and exciting. PLEASE, of you love good theater, try to catch this gem before it closes on June 21st. You will be moved beyond words. Bravo!!!
