WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

In it's previous New York run at Manhattan Theatre Source in April 2003, Fattie & Skinny Show was met with critical acclaim. Back by popular demand, Fattie & Skinny are back to share with you their insane yet hysterical, classic yet touched, Andy Kaufman-esque vein of humor. This time Fattie & Skinny bring with them several new guests and an all-new surprise plot twist! Best friends and roommates, Fattie & Skinny perform their original show live in their living room. Moving from bit to bit, they charm their audience with their own special brand of humor, musical talent, games, hand made puppets and more. They even have guest stars! This time around, Mr. Mahi pays a visit to Fattie & Skinny- but something is a little strange with his comedy...is he really a pervert, or is Fattie just imagining things? Life is peaceful and the laughs flow in the confines of their Harlem living room, until reality knocks on their door. Skinny is in love with their landlord, Chocolate Bitch, but unfortunately Fattie & Skinny are two months behind on their rent. With no money and no jobs, how will they make ends meet? Will they have to sell their Mimeinabox... And will Skinny ever get Chocolate Bitch to see him as more than a tenant? Fattie & Skinny Show stars David Arkema and Kirjan Waage, is directed by Gwendolyn Warnock and is produced by Gabrielle Brechner.
