WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
East Village Chronicles are two evenings of one-act plays presented in alternating repertory:
"Evening A" is devoted to stories of the 1st Generation in four plays about newcomers to the Lower East Side, including Commedia Della Poca Italia and East Village Kaddish by Anthony P. Pennino, The Gate by Renée Flemings, and The Pigeon Tree by Gino DiIorio.
"Evening B" is devoted to 2nd Generation stories: four plays about the children of the originals including Floating Home by Adrian Rodriguez, Ukrainian Blues by Saviana Stanescu, The Irish Melodrama by Trav S. D., and Bike Wreck by Qui Nguyen.
