This is an anti-love story between a strung-out vagrant and an ex-carnie turned prostitute. While these two lost characters fantasize of a life away from the brutality and burdens of their decaying city, the weight of their shattered dreams and lost hopes dash any real chance of a new beginning. Confusing lust for love, both characters find themselves in a circle of lecherous banter as they fight the forces of Darwin's Survival of the Fittest. Dead City Rapture gives an extreme and surreal look at what could become of our country as we spiral downward toward economic and political destruction, while touching on the problems that we face as individuals in a modern cut throat world.
