WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A new work by young and gifted African American playwright Melody Cooper, this historical drama tells the story of Lucy and Albert Parsons, American anarchists and an interracial couple, who played a central role in the late 19th century radical political movement in America. Day of Reckoning won the 2003 Association for Theatre in Higher Education Jane Chambers Playwriting Award. Madelyn Chapman directs.
