David Dorfman's daredevil company dives and leaps as if gravity didn't exist and the world was upside down and inside out. There is always an edge of danger in their dancing. Unseen forces subvert the natural flow of their movement as they engage in the deep human quest to connect. The world premiere Light Bulb Theory takes us on a journey through a land of the helpless and the helpful. The piece celebrates life in recognitions of the folly of waiting for "the perfect moment" as time moves on and the lights flicker and go out. The company also premieres Impending Joy, which uses fractured movements to explore the emtional fallout after a crisis, in the moment just before everything becomes all right.
