The Material World is a pop musical about a family of socialist Jews in the 1920s who live in a house with Madonna and Britney Spears. The culmination of Dan Fishback's workshop, Needing It: Performance in the Queer Community Tradition, eleven students will present original performances. Performance artist and singer-songwriter Dan Fishback releases The Mammal Years, his first full-length solo album in four years, featuring full-band arrangements of songs he's developed in New York's anti-folk scene over the past decade. He'll be joined by singer-songwriters Joseph Keckler, Lucian Kahn (of Schmekel), Casey Holford, and Double Deuce.
