WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Culturemart is HERE's annual two-week festival celebrating the work of "hybrid" artists. The festival fosters multidisciplinary relationships between artists in a festival environment that broadens artistic perspectives, and presents art that pushes traditional boundaries. Performances: Friday, January 3 and Saturday, January 4 at 9:30pm Blue Flower - story and art by Ruth Bauer; music, lyrics, and script by Jim Bauer Sunday, January 5 and Monday, January 6 at 7:00pm Intimate Shift by Daniel Levy Sunday, January 5 and Monday, January 6 at 9:30pm Judges 19: Black Lung Exhaling written by Ruth Margraff with music by Nick Brisco Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8 at 7:00pm Radio Wonderland created and performed by Joshua Fried Saturn's Wake by Deke Weaver and Michael Farkas Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8 at 9:30pm Three-Ring by proto-type Thursday, January 9 and Friday, January 10 at 7:00pm The Dakota Project by Noah Haidle and Davis McCallum Thursday, January 9 and Friday, January 10 at 9:30pm Phenonemon by Alyse Rothman Elegy by Tiffany Mills, with original score composed by John Zorn Saturday, January 11 at 7pm and 9:30pm Cascondo directed by Joanna Settle
