WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A rainy night. 2:02 am; and there is a sound, a strange kind of low kind of, not a familiar sound, but a very, very human sound which makes its way around the neighborhood. The mystery unravels in a tour-de-force performance by Obie Award winner Daniel MacIvor as he plays all nine characters recollecting the last moments of Leonard's life. Subversive and sly, this clever drama from da da kamera, one of Canada's most renowned theater companies, overturns old notions of theatrical expression. Created by Daniel MacIvor and Daniel Brooks.

MacIvor is well known in his native land and has received critical acclaim in New York for such plays as Never Swim Alone and See Bob Run. His superb, darkly comic drama In On It earned him both an Obie and a GLAAD Media Award in its run in 2001 at P.S. 122, where his current show is also playing. MacIvor likes to experiment with play structure; in Cul-de-Sac[...]
