WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Playback NYC uses music, dance, freestyle hip-hop, and improvisational theater to transform the stories of our audience into the art of theater, and, with the encouragement and support of the Hip-Hop Theater Festival, has begun experimenting with how to sample, mix and fuse the 500-year-old tradition of Commedia dell'Arte and today's Hip-Hop.
