Cash Test Dummies--the longform improv tournament where the winners win real cash money--returns!! Performers include: Galileo, Secret Man Group, Chet Watkins, Mr. Gentleman hosted by Willy Appelman For the uninitiated, CTD is a comedy show that brings together some of NYC's best improv teams--house teams and indie teams--to compete for money. The winners of Season 1 walked away with nearly $900 and the love and adoration of hundreds. Who will win this year is up to you, as it is the audience who votes for the winner by grading each team's performance on the following: Comedy: how funny was it? Did you laugh a lot or not much at all? Perfomance: how well was it executed? Did you get immersed in the reality being created on stage? Teamwork: was everybody on the same page? was group mind achieved? or was it confusing and all over the place? Overall Impression: technicals aside, how much did you enjoy the show? So come out and support your friends, your fellow improvisers, or just come and enjoy a night of fun spontaneous comedy!
