WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Corpus Christi written by Terrence McNally and directed by Adam Fitzgerald was originally produced by The Manhattan Theatre Club in 1998. It is a retelling of the New Testament set partially in modern day Corpus Christi, Texas. Joshua, the Jesus figure, returns to the world as the Son of God, but must face all the trials and tribulations of a gay man in small city Texas.
This show is part of the Off-Off Bowery Theater Festival.
