How can classical theatre help us understand our society today? Raised Spirits Theater's adaption of Coriolanus focuses on class relations, which exist both in Elizabethan times and in 21st century America. What has changed? What hasn't? And what can we learn from it? William Shakespeare's tragedy, based on the life of the legendary Roman leader Caius Marcius Coriolanus, will be presented by Raised Spirits Theater as a radio version performed by an eclectic group of young actors with the aim of seeking answers to these questions.
