A new play written and directed by Robert Cucuzza, Confidence, Women! is the inaugural theatrical production of ACME Acting Lab. This production also marks Cucuzza's return to the New York stage as a playwright and director after an eight-year hiatus.

The manic, dark comedy tells the story of six hard-edged and desperate women at the turn-of-the-century who will stop at nothing to befriend, con, swindle or kill a seventh woman -- the mythological figure known as The Pedestrian Bill Souse. Nothing is quite what it appears on the surface as genders get bent, identities are turned inside-out, con after con falls apart, the gloves come off, and Bill Souse's multiple layers get peeled away.

The production stars Kelsey Bacon, Regina Betancourt, Ella Bole, Britt Genelin, Gina Guarnieri, Hagar Moor and Kelly Sharp. The set design is by Merope Vachlioti, costume design by Lee Harper and lighting design by Amy Harper.
