Actors of the World presents Cloud Tectonics, José Rivera's magical-realist play about a young woman whose presence stops the passage of time--and forever alters the lives of the men who fall in love with her.

During a torrential rainstorm, a lost pregnant woman hitchhikes on the streets of Los Angeles when an ordinary guy stops to help her. Aníbal de la Luna offers Celestina del Sol temporary shelter in his apartment, where the shy airport worker discovers more about this strange, angelic woman. Soon their peace is interrupted by Aníbal's younger brother, Nelson, a boisterous soldier who likewise falls under Celestina's spell. As years fly by like minutes, time dissolves into a single night that none of them will ever forget. Matilda Corral directs.
