WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theater presents Christmas Carol, Oy Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa, adapted from Charles Dickens' holiday classic by director Vít Horejs. With over 30 puppets by Milos Kasal and holiday songs in Czech, English, Hebrew & Swahili, this toy-puppet theatre extravaganza is a new take on Dickens' story with a few twists and digressions, which result in an unexpected blend of English, Jewish, African, American and Czech winter rituals, customs, and holiday songs.
