Chained Dog Unleashed on the Lower East Side tells the story of a volatile New York father named Hector Sosa, and the crazed relationship he shares with his daughters Gladys and Tanya. On the eve of Tanya's wedding day, Hector's hatred for his Spaniard in-laws brings to the surface the pain and complexity of his bleak world. When his best friend and chess partner Lindo, who also happens to be Gladys' former barrio boyfriend, gets stirred into this strange brew of frayed emotions, the trouble really begins.
