WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
An American journalist in the Philippines is imprisoned in a small cell with a young Canadian backpacker. Both were kidnapped by a terrorist organization that keeps its motives hidden. Together, the two men are forced to discover their internal strength in order to survive. Anthony P. Pennino's Call It Peace: Mediations from North America is inspired by the recent kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. David Renwanz directs.
