Caliban Remembers, directed by I Nyoman Catra, is a Balinese version of Shakespeare's Tempest, told in Shakespeare's original language from Caliban's point of view, performed with shadow puppets and masks. This production, from Bali, has music performed by the gamelan orchestra of the Indonesian Consulate of New York and composed and sung by Desak Made Suartilaksmi, who plays Ariel.
