WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Byzantium was the ancient world's Las Vegas, dazzling and heartless--peddling vice, empty spectacle, and intrigue. When the emperor Justinian's love for Theodora, a streetwise actress, threatens the city's fragile peace, unrest erupts into revolution in this musical epic.
