WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute presents Bus Stop by William Inge; Directed by Geoffrey Horne and Jonathan Meyer. Bus Stop was a movie starring Marilyn Monroe, but before that a successful Broadway play starring Kim Stanley and Elaine Stritch. A bus pulls up at a roadside diner in Kansas in the middle of a blinding snowstorm, and the travelers have to hole up for the night. "Mr. Inge has put together an uproarious comedy that never strays from the truth." -The New York Times "William Inge brings to the theatre a warm-hearted compassion, and an appreciation of average humanity that can be wonderfully funny and touching."
