Broadway Bears VI features 40 one-of-a-kind bears each dressed in original, handmade costumes representing some of the theater's most legendary characters up for auction to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's cast of 40 bears features autographed bears representing such shows as Judy Garland at the Palace, Flower Drum Song, The Rocky Horror Show, Mamma Mia!, Dreamgirls, Beatlemania, Urinetown: The Musical, Song & Dance, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Seussical: The Musical, and The Phantom of the Opera. Highlights include bears dressed in Gary Beach's Roger De Bris costume from The Producers, Harvey Fierstein's Edna Turnblad from Hairspray, and John Vickery's Scar from The Lion King. Bryan Batt hosts.

Tickets for a private reception beginning at 6:00pm are $150 and include a VIP advance preview of all bears to be auctioned, reserved priority seating, and open bar. General admission tickets (unreserved seating) are $35 and also include open bar. Doors open at 7:00pm for all general admission ticket holders and the auction begins at 8:00pm.
