The Pizzarelli Family is back with their new show Bossa Nova. The show is based on Pizzarelli's fifth Telarc CD, Bossa Nova, which features a wide variety of music ranging from brash to introverted, and includes Brazilian standards and recently composed songs. Bossa nova is the most personal and international of Brazil's musical forms. It's "cool" aesthetic-with its gentle rhythms, rich harmonies and seductive delivery-is a perfect match for Pizzarelli's smooth and casual style.
