Body Blend, curated by Isabel Lewis, features Malika Green, Beth Maderal, April Biggs, Lisa Parra and Mare Hieronimus.

Malika Green is an artist who has been making conceptual shoes for the past 5 years. Her work reflects her fascination with skin, subtly disturbing body alterations, and things hidden.

Beth Maderal is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BFA in dance. She has performed for LeTania Kirkland, Austin Dixon, Ann Robideaux, Gretchen Weber and Leanne Schmidt.

Lisa Parra received a B.A. in Dance and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, an M.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy from UCLA, and most recently a certification in movement analysis at the Laban Institute of Movement Studies in NYC. She has recently performed at the Oasis Festival, A.I.R. Galerry, the Williamsburg Art Nexus, and the D.U.M.B.O. Dance Festival.

Maré Hieronimus is a Brooklyn-based, interdisciplinary dance artist whose work weaves together her interests in movement, light, sound, and the visual image. Maré collaborates with video, installation, sound, and lighting designers to create abstract and psychic landscapes, using the body in motion as the primary impulse.
