In the summer of infinite heat, Ray-Ray feels small. His father is gone. His mother is fading--and his cul-de-sac is ruled by Clinton. But sometimes, when night falls on Orange County, Ray-Ray sits alone in the dark and feels a volcano growing inside. The Cherry Lane Alternative presents David Wiener's Blood Orange. This production is part of the 2001 Mentor Project, with veteran playwright David Henry Hwang serving as Wiener's mentor. Anders Cato directs.
