Blindess was written by Mario Fratti, the Italian playwright living in New York. It addresses the grief of an American family's loss in war. Resistance as tragedy. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah is a set of playlets by Gene Ruffini, founder of New York's Italian-American Repertory Theatre. It addresses war in the tradition of farce. Resistance as vaudeville.The evening ends with a talk-back with the playwrights and company.
