WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In Beggar to the Air, the audience encounters Timon alone and boiling with loathing. Burdened by debt, the former party-king has fled the big city to arrive in a garbage dump by the sea. In a defiant last stand, Timon battles tortuous memories and rages against the society that betrayed him. This innovative adaptation of Shakespeare & Middleton's rarely produced play Timon of Athens thrusts the audience into Timon's world.
