WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Beatbox: A Rapperetta by Tommy Shepherd (Soulati) and Dan Wolf is a critically-acclaimed play written in rhyme and accompanied by beatbox (vocal drum beats) and DJ Raw B. The story focuses on the struggle of two brothers, Mickey Finch (Soulati) and Tet (Infinite Tunga Brown) to rise above the conditions surrounding them. Part of the New York City Hip-Hop Theater Festival.
