The first of three plays in The Galveston Cycle, Barrier Island is a drama about a fearless community that rests their lives against the historic wall that protects Galveston Island from natural disasters, while a younger generation challenges the emotional disasters no wall can protect.

Absolutely Wonderful!!
Where to begin~ The story and writing were captivating keeping me on the edge of my seat. I cant wait for parts 2 & 3. The acting blew me away! When the lights went up for intermission, I was disappointed, because I wanted to find out what happens. I would highly recommend this play to anyone. It has a perfect blend of drama and comedy. Into the next day, I couldnt stop thinking about it, and all the emotions it brought up in me. GO SEE IT!

So passionate that I could not leave my seat.
The performance was extremely moving and passionate. I could not remove my eyes from the show. The connection, the deep expression, the mood; everything came together very well. It was a true reflection of reality. I loved it. Keep up the good work.
