Based on the Grimm fairy tale The Dancing Princesses, Balletto Stiletto tells the saucy story of Bruno, the Appliance King of New Jersey, and his nine beautiful daughters. Bruno deadbolts his daughters into their bedroom each night. Each morning the lock remains untouched and yet the daughters' shoes have been worn through, as if they have been out dancing all night. Bruno declares that whoever can unravel the mystery can marry one of the daughters. The one major catch: whoever fails will be put to death. Combining theater, dance music, and comedy, Balletto Stiletto is conceived and directed by Mary Fulham with choreography by Heidi Latsky.
