Based in Chicago, Baby Wants Candy has amazed audiences around the world with its signature show -- a completely improvised hour-long musical that has been described as a cross between Whose Line Is It Anyway? and The Simpsons. Truly every aspect of The Musical -- the plot and characters, musical accompaniment, song lyrics and even what they call "choreography" -- is made up o­n the spot. The group, which also created the scripted holiday musical, Moulin Scrooge, was named Best Improv Troupe by Chicago Magazine in 2003 and Best Visiting Comedy Act by Time Out NY in 2002. BWC returns to the New York Musical Theatre Festival after a sold-out run at NYMF 2005.
