Theatre for the New City presents this zany new comedy/satire from the writer/composer of LEONARD AND MINKY. THE BABY BOOMER begins with a morning in the life of Henry, a middle aged, overweight, pot smoking malcontent. While he's drinking his daily cup of brew and mindlessly watching the tube, he's miraculously transported into his television set. Suddenly he finds himself living in a distorted TV world reminiscent of the sitcoms from the late 50's and early 60's. The ensuing succesion of humorous and frightening events is a commentary on the plight of the Baby Boomer generation.-dlm
