Liz Small, an obedient wife and mother of two, one day finds herself to be living faster than the speed of life. Babes in America focuses on her and how she relates to her family while she confronts the absurdity of our age of information overload and experiential under load. Struggling against the inertia of her own values, she must rise beyond the expectations of others while avoiding the Siren's Song of the technological environment surrounding her. The Breakaway Theatre Company presents the world premiere of this new play by Carole Clement. Max Daniels directs.
