Automatic Superstar is the story of Matic, a masked rock star whose record company is trying to kill him. Matic spearheads the free downloading movement and becomes an overnight sensation when his song "Hate You for Loving Me" rockets to the top of the Internet download charts. But when his record company demands that he stop giving away the music, Matic fights back in a public display of defiance. With the future of the music industry on the line and his life spiraling out of control, Matic confronts the record company and his demons in a shocking and rocking conclusion.
