WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Studio 42 presents Anticipating Heat, the world premiere of a new play by Charlotte Winters. Ria Cooper directs.
When acclaimed young writer Heat Christiansen returns home to Denmark to write his second novel, his relationships with three women from his childhood - sisters Margrethe and Brigitte, and their cousin Lone - surge into the present and threaten the strength of the womens' bonds to one another, and place his own career in jeopardy.
A contemporary Danish serio-comedy in the tradition of Chekhov, ANTICIPATING HEAT utilizes the motif of the still photograph to explore the constructs of family, love, and truth.
