Rooster, a small time crook who has recently been paroled after spending three years in the state penn for manufacturing and selling alcohol. Recently released, he is broke, restless, and hungry for his next big score. All he needs is the help of his beloved sister, Agatha. By his side is his girl Lily...Lily St. Regis. After all, it is Christmas and there has not been a child's laughter within the walls of the Warbucks mansion for a long as she can remember. And so, she approaches her employer Oliver Warbucks about the desire to adopt Annie.

One night at the theatre with the precocious young girl with a head full of curly red locks and he is smitten...utterly and completely. But Annie yearns for the return of her parents.
