WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Andru, a disembodied head, hosts a public access children's show produced by his friend of long standing Mr. Stewart and helped by the lovely Calliope (whom Andru loves). Thoroughly corrupt and evil corporate mogul Phineas Lee buys the show, and Andru, from Mr. Stewart, drawing our intrepid trio into a twisted web of merchandising, media monopoly and murder--and it's a comedy! The tuneful score by Stephen Wilson spans the full range of indie rock genres: Power Pop, Jangle Pop, Hardcore Punk, Post-Punk and more--including touches of vaudeville.
This performance is part of the 2004 New York International Fringe Festival.
