June 13th: Sajjil (To Record), presented by Nibras A dramatic exploration of Arab American identity woven from interviews with New Yorkers of all backgrounds. June 20th: How I Wore Out My 50 Pairs of Silk Stockings, by Ella Veres, directed by Marcy Arlin A Transylvanian Journalist relocates to Budapest and meets some Very Strange Men June 27th: The "N" Word, written & directed by Alvin Eng Not what you think...Musical stories about saying "NO" as an Asian/American guy from Queens July 11th: Queen Latina, by Mixed Company At a zany game show, the audience chooses the Latina Real! from a confusing group of contestants. July 18: Criminal: A Little Tragedy about a Countertransferential Transference, by Javier Daulte, translated by Rodrigo Cameron, directed by Gwynn MacDonald Psychoanalysts & their patients play a perverse game of hide and seek in contemporary Argentina. July 25: A New Work by Ching Valdes-Aran Images & Impressions about being Philippine in NYC August 1: First Language, by Novid Parsi, directed by Nabil Ben Ghachem A Middle-Eastern woman and her Western son struggle with love, sexual longing, and ethnic belonging.
