Begun in 2004, the Alphabet City Project creates theatrical snapshots from the words of long-term residents to capture the continuing transformation of the East Village. Each evening ("Avenue A", "Avenue B", and "Avenue C") includes three separate solo-performances celebrating real life artists, activists, entrepreneurs, and anonymous neighbors of the Lower East Side.
