This show is part of the FringeNYC 2004 Festival.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Sometimes Guardian angels can appear in the most unlikely of places. The 2004 International Fringe Festival presents Africa & Plumbridge, a new musical by Sue Carey, in collaboration with Karena Mendoza, Carson Grace Becker, and Jim Brochu. Africa, a young foster girl, has fought her family, the system and her own demons since childhood. Now at St. Agatha's Home for Teens, Africa is torn between the doctor who wants to commit her and the lawyer, Susan Plumbridge, who wants to rescue her.
The cast includes: Eric Anthony, Charissa Armon, Jane Brewer, Rachel Cerrone, Chipper Cooke, Sharyon Culberson, Janeece Aisha Freeman, Richard White, Jim Meade, Folin Ponce DeLeon, Susan Powell, Jasmine Randle, Gerald Richardson, Giselle Vaughn Ruecking, and Monique Whittington.
