WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Puppeteer Michael Sommers has created more than 30 productions, ranging in scale from small suitcase narratives to mainstage shows. With his Open Eye Figure Theatre, he presents A Prelude to Faust, a visually stunning, intimately scaled new work inspired by the Bible and Goethe's Faust. The show, part of the Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater, features puppetry and live music.
