WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A Pirate's Lullaby is an intimate exploration of the complex bond between mother and daughter combined with a swashbuckling pirate epic. These courageous and compelling characters make no apologies for their lives, mistakes or desires. Poignant feminist themes are touched as Daisy studies the only real-life women pirates in history, inspiring her to take control of her life and her relationship with her overbearing mother.
