WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Louis Salamone Management presents the New York debut of A Night in London, two one act plays by British playwright and up-and-comer, Deborah Grimberg.

Josh Iacovelli, co ?founder of Camden Productions, directs Screaming Violet. Ruby is the frustrated product of a mother who scrambles to realize her dreams, a father whose dreams are consumed in the pub, and a boyfriend who listens to a walkman radio while meditating in order to keep himself from falling asleep. In a final poignant moment amidst the mayhem, Ruby not only reconciles with her mother but also begins to understand herself.

Hellmouth marks the New York directorial debut of Thailand native, Bhanbhassa ?Ning? Dhubthien. Dealing with the tragic murder of their sister stirs up a cauldron of emotions each time Ray and Alison make their ritualistic stop at a London pub before continuing onto the parole board meeting. At the pub, Ray and Alison start off with lighthearted sibling banter but the conversation quickly climbs out of this superficial pit and delves into a deeper one that is wrought with blame, guilt, denial and remorse. The murder of their sister has scarred them, the parole meetings exasperate them, and the pub on these days, inflames them.
