A Midwinter's Tale celebrates the acting profession with all its passion, humor, drama and naïveté. Meet Joe Harper, an out-of-work actor who attempts to salvage his pride and save his hometown church by mounting a low-budget production of Hamlet. His auditions summon a most unpromising selection of misfits and has-beens, from which he hires a cast of six to play the twenty-four roles in Shakespeare's greatest play.
