Mrs. Cratchit: You want me to drink to that squeezing, clutching miserable old goat who has not raised your salary in five years?! That miser whose bank account grows larger every minute of the day. No! He has the power to make our lives better, but does nothing. He takes advantage of you, knowing that steady employment is nearly impossible to find."
